Have been offered a PVC with leather seats all around, what do you think of them ? Easy to clean , good hard wearing etc.

We ordered the optional half leather upholstery. That is the best of both worlds. Not too hot, cold or slippery, but the bits that show wear on 100% fabric seats are very well protected.

If you have dogs that might tip the decision towards full leather.

We had the same question when buying our van earlier this year. After much questioning, deliberation and discussion about the additional cost vs longevity etc. we decided on leather - easy to clean, hardwearing and will if looked after, it remains in better condition for longer or so I was advised

Leather every time - just make sure you treat it regularly - I always use Gliptone products

At the other end of the life of a Motorhome I test drove an all leather model (17 years old?) and did find a very noticeable number of creaks coming the upholstery pieces rubbing against each other. Hence I wouldn't choose one given a choice?

Not for us too cold in winter and too hot and sticky in summer :(
I agree both my cars have leather seats - look great and nice to sit in but they're quite sweaty in the summer. So much so that I've put a sheepskin on them. In winter they have heating elements so nice and cosy.

If you have a dog that thinks it can drive a motorhome every time you leave no! We went for removable cloth and washable covers this time and have sheepskin seat covers, leather is great and hard wearing but animal claws are sharper No dogs or cats yes, pets NO !

We managed to buy our Hymer PVC with leather only after the first potential customer rejected it, apparently he placed an order over the phone not realising it was leather trimmed and later cancelled as he was a vegan!
Suited us as we specifically wanted leather to help control our sons dustmite allergy.

I have never been a fan of leather in the van. Had a car with leather seats. Was sweaty in the summer and freezing cold in the winter?

Thought it was going to be a dressing up thread.🦹‍♀️🧙‍♀️🧛‍♂️
Cant beat a good leather in
Now then you two ... behave or I'll have to pay you a visit ...

Having dogs I wouldn't have leather anyway but it seems to wear and crease after a while anyway so doesn't always look good after a few years. I always make covers for all our MH seating anyway so what the material is isn't really a big concern for us but when we had a car with full leather seats they were hot in summer and very, very cold in winter even with heating in them, I certainly wouldn't pay extra for it, I'd much rather have some covers that I can take off and wash.
