Swift Bessacarr 512
High I have just joined the group so this is my first question and I hope someone can help. I have a 2019 Swift Bessacarr 512 High Style with the upper running lights above the cab area. Last week on holiday we started getting water getting into the cab at the top of the passenger pillar immediately below the outer light. The light looks like it is sitting lower than the other side. Typically the previous owner appears to have missed one habitation check and my warrantee is probably lost. Does anyone know how to remove and resit the light in the shell. There does not appear to be any screws on the outside. Wary about removing the inner coverings etc without asking first.

Cheers Eric

Have you got any instructions for changing the bulbs in the running lights in the users manual? There might be a clue in there about how to get to it?

Totally different marque (Auto-trail) but Dane Diabalo asked the same question about his Mohawk. Don't know if he managed to get his finger out and get access to the marker light fitting!:whistle2:

Totally different motorhome of course but my upper front marker lights are accessed from inside by removing the overcab speakers.
I only found this out after breaking one getting it out with brute force and ignorance from outside. Luckily I was able to source a new replacement at a reasonable price.

Hi All

Thanks for all the replies. They are all very useful and it looks like I have sourced the missing reports so I can get the van attended to at a service centre

Hi did you get this fixed ok and was it the light that was the source of the problem leak? I have the same issue with my 2017 Swift Rio 310. Thanks!

Gellyneck Been up the van today and both top front marker lights are out. I manage to get one of the lenses off but the cable is sealed with sealent and I didn't have time to get it out to have a proper look as it was about to rain. Came home and found this image on an Auto trail face ache group. The backing plate has a single self tapper to the body work and the lens /Led which is a sealed unit clips on to it and is held by the 4 plastic lugs. I dont think the fuse has gone as the side and rear markers all work and doubt they would be on a different circuit.
