Anyone know how to remove the top front and rear marker light lenses on a 2013 Mohawk?

Yea but they only need a clean not demolishing.
They are normally one of two types: LED - in which case they are one piece and are removed as a unit; or conventional bulb in which case they will be corroded, dirty, and with brittle plastic. The covers on these, if there are no visible screws, are removed by gently prising the lens away from the base. At which point you'll be able to see just why most of us leave well alone, wait for the inevitable tree branch, then replace them with one piece LED units. :giggler:

If it's the white \ red high level lamps at the four corners of the motorhome I just replaced one of the bulbs in one of them. Ours is a 2013 Savannah and would guess your Mohawk would be same.
There are two screws through the "glass" from the front that screw into the rear. Undo these and wiggle the "glass" about a bit as the rubber seal behind sticks a little bit.
Ours has 5W festoon bulbs.

ps replacement from here http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-5...0001&campid=5338547443&icep_item=192318231349
not brilliant quality (one faulty and one with "oversized" solder contacts) but we'll see how they go.

Yes the red and white jobbies, mine don't have screws, so I don't know if the lens unscrews or is pried off. I will have another look tomorrow wiv me glasses on just to make sure there are no screws.

Hold that last result!
It was a rear bulb I replaced and assumed all fitted the same.
However,

Would be interested to know the outcome assuming it doesn't entail the use of a hammer! :whistle2:

If you replace with led bulbs it comes up on the dashboard as a bulb gone, and I brought the ones that are meant to show resistance so this doesn’t happen. I just live with the warning light on the dashboard.

Didn't get round to trying to remove the marker lights, still on me to do list, now where's that bottle opener

Any chance it will move to the top of the list sometime this year?:giggle:

I'm hanging the bag out Brian hoping someone else tries before I break mine trying
I have just changed the bulb in mine (festoon) you can get a small flat screwdriver in slot and gently prise away from backplate.

It's the front top ones I would like to get off to clean

Nearly 4 years ago I asked the question and still not removed the lens. I have prodded pried and try to unscrew all to no avail.

Well that went well, NOT. Had another go at the top marker lights manage to get the light off and they are LED sealed units, it's taken me 4 years I only wanted to get the lens off to clean them but they have both now stopped working. I managed to get the correct ones HERE I got one off put the new one on but it still does not work and checking the old one it was ok. I couldn't test in situe as I they cable wouldn't come all the way out with the connecter so I had to cut it and remake the ends anyway.

So back to the drawing board, the rear and side markes all work ok and I would have thought the front top ones would be on the same circuit. Too wet today to see where the side markers terminate . The fuse for all the marker lights is on the EM module behind the drivers seat so would have thought it all went back to there but it didn't look like when I took it out.

Hi Dane, have you tried reversing the wires, L E D's only work one way.
Or bench test with a battery.

Both were not working, the new one fitted does not work and I connected the same white to white, black to black, the not working one worked when bench tested. I suspect it's an earthing issue, just need to trace the wiring.

I replaced all mine with leds. The rear ones just prised off. The front ones entailed removing the speakers over the cab and accessing from the rear.

Not that simple on my van the wiring is all behind the front pod with no access. I need to find where the wiring ends up.

Dane, I think the other end of the marker light cables go to the FIAT Y203 connector which is in behind the "B" pillar panel just above the EM40 fuse board.
