I'm taking the NT1100 on a trailer from Monday and staying in Jungfrau Camping for 8 nights.
I have some passess listed that i will ride (all done in a car or MH but not on a bike).
Have i missed any obvious ones within a comfortable riding day there and back to Lauterbrunnen.
I have

Grimsel
Susten
Simplon
OR
Any other must ride to have a look at spots.

Stein Glacier off the Susten Pass, I had a night there in the motorhome, beautiful. There's a private toll road to access it, costs 5 CHF

Did the Susten in the car earlier in the year, it was peeing down so views were limited.
It is on the list to do on the bike this time and yes i would appreciate the W3W (i will have to find a proper address as dont do W3W). Thanks in advance.
Edit : just looked it up The Hotel there, or close, The Berghotel Steingletscher we had lunch in there. The Glacier is close by. Will do.

Oberalp pass is great even in 5ton 7.5m moho

Left camping Jungfrau in Lauterbrunnen this morning .Used autoroute rather than Col de Mosses because we had lots of snow above 1200 metres. Swiss meteo saying it was the lowest day time temperature in Interlaken area in early September. Most of the paths above Wengen and Kliene Scheinegg closed on Friday and Saturday. Web cams showed lots of snow up high. It was -12’ C up at Top of Europe. Hope you have a good sleeping bag if camping at Jungfrau.

I will have 16amp and a bloody good Alde heater.
As for snow, if i catch one glimpse of it on the roads it's a U turn from me. Cloathing on the bike not an issue.

The Susten Pass is stunning - if you have the right weather. This was October 2017. There was no snow on the road at that time but given the weird weather at the moment who knows what it's like now? It was 7°C last night in Toulouse. Flooding in Austria and Germany but I think it's been OK in Switzerland.

Tour done.
All passes and more were ridden, some both ways.
Spectacular roads, spectacular scenery and i was very lucky that every day was sunny and warm (although lots of snow higher up).
I did 650 miles just in and around a radi of 40miles from Lauterbrunnen where i was based.

Honda NT1100 with full kit (although most rides i did not take the panniers.
I have to say this is my type of bike. It does everything i need for my type of riding at my age. It has enough power to have a blast, it is comfortable with very little wind.
The DCT box with it's modes ( i used the manual modes many times) is so much better than a full manual.........for ME.
A great bike doing circa 60mpg.
One niggle that will be address at it's first service is in Tour and Urban mode the DCT box changes up to 4/5/6th gears far too quickly. Other than that loving it.

The BMW R12 i bought now has 212 miles on the clock, it won't going up much in the forseeable future but looks good in the garage.
