The answer to this question might be straight forward, but we are going away on a long trip for several weeks and there would be an instance where me might need to do Laundry at a CAMC site. Do I just need to be prepared and load up with Coins? Or I pay for credit or can I pay with a debit card? Thanks In advance.

Last time I used a CAMC laundry (pre pandemic) it was coins but the wardens were very helpful with change

CCC was the same - needed coins.

Might be best to check which coins or, possibly, tokens are needed in advance.

Some sites also use tokens that you can buy from reception

CAMC at Melrose Farm (Cornwall) is tokens which you need to purchase from reception and can buy using your contactless card.

Advice to take along a selection of £1 and 50p coins, as sometimes the machines are quite specific about how many and which coin is needed. Generally the going rate is £4 a 20 min wash (you will need your own detergent and fabric conditioner), and £1 for a 10 minute dry. 1 dry is never enough! Although if there is a breeze line drying is fine!
