After your original post I took a look at the one currently on offer at Lakeland, which is all black. It's tempting, but I tell myself that in 8 years of van ownership I've so far managed fine with the hob and grill I have.

We use a Remoska at home too - it's quicker & more economical than our main electric oven & it roasts so well At this price could probably resell it without loss. Only downside is the lid needs careful handling as it's a big, hot thing that could be a bit heavy for some.

Bought the new Black one recently (@£119.99) very pleased with it, looks a lot more professional than the older one, which I still have. Works just as well and can get a whole Chicken in it…..just!

Unless it's stuffed we just push down to break the bones a little so it sits flatter - it does cook the very best chicken staying moist but with crispy skin - yum!

We have Standard for use in the motorhome for two of us but Grand for use at home as that takes large whole stuffed chicken & meat joints. Have to squash a whole smaller chicken in the Standard but ideal pieces of meat, roasting veg. & baking.

I think the 2ltr-standard size would be too small for 4 people altho 3 would be ok as long as they don’t have huge appetites!
Just going off the subject a bit but you can dry toast a Chicken or joint in a Slow Cooker, comes out beautifully moist and you get jus for a very tasty gravy!
I have had a Remoska for about 15 or 16 years now and love them, they are so versatile!
