Laika kreos 7009 (2020) wing mirrors not staying in place!

Hi,
We have only just moved over to an A class and love our van. We have been out a few times with no problems, however today we have set off for Switzerland and our wing mirrors have started swinging out further away from the van to a position that visibility is totally compromised!!! They will not stay in the correct position no matter what we do. We are literally about to get on the tunnel and have no clue how to fix this.
I hope someone can help us. It could be something totally simple that we are missing

It has swung right out and will not stay in!

We have tried tightening it with an Allen key but it's doing nothing

We have also tried temporarily taping them but no good

I’m not experienced with those mirrors but surprised tightening the hinge hasn’t worked. Did the bolt move? Can you undo the hinge and put a thin piece of rubber in there and then retighten.

Im sure an adult will be along in a bit who knows about these mirrors.

Ok thanks, we will try that. The mirrors are totally different to our old van so have no experience with them.
