Would anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1996 Kontiki 640 that I could get a copy of please, or know where I could get one?

Manufacturers don't issue wiring diagrams. A 1996 van I'd should be fairly simple and you should be able to find your way about fairly easily.
You can often get a schematic of the connections to the distribution unit from its manufacturer.

I have found this which will be useful for identifying wiring colours, I'm just hoping there might be a better copy. u2269_1600441088_14638.jpg

That is way above any info you normally get, I'd be well pleased with that.

I have a 2006 pdf wiring diagram (3 pages) which says it’s also for a Kontiki, quick picture attached of part of it, tablet isn’t the best tool to do this! Happy to put it in resources area if that’s allowed? I know it’s after 1996 but might help?

Great resource for someone with that model van 👍. Sadly completely different from mine. Coincidentally I tracked down my fault today to a badly corroded connection in the engine bay area.

Sorry I couldn‘t help you, pleased to hear you’ve got it sorted (y)

I’ll add it to resources, have a couple of files, went looking for any diagrams etc when we got our Swift that might help if we had any problems in the future.

Not sure this is helpful but I have an official warning diagram for my 2016 Swift Bolero 744.

The wiring in the van bears little relationship to the diagram

Thanks domf, sadly I imagine it will bear even less resemblence to my much older van wiring. Cheers anyway 👍

Just spotted my typoe - perhaps "warning" is more correct than "wiring".....
