Hi. So my 2007 Adria has a 12mm ply base throughout. I've find some dried-out damp on the rear offside edge, under the garage. It's quite crumbly.
At first i thought it might be water kicked up by the rear wheel but the ply on the other side is fine, so I reckon it's probably a leak.
As it rained last night I just went to check and there is a bit of water pooling where indicated. Although it's not got right inside the metal frame (light rain), I think this is probably the culprit.
I have two questions: first, I presume buying and fitting a new seal is a sensible next step - it looks fine, but I guess it's the most likely culprit. Is fitting one relatively easy? I can't see how it comes off.
Second, lots of advice I've had is that ply is fine when it's dried out, the rot doesn't spread like in wood. Is this true? It'll be very fiddly to cut out and replace the wood, not least because the interior of the garage is lined with vinyl, so I'd probably have to remove all of the vinyl to make it look neat.
Thanks!
Thanks!
