Hi All
So Saturday morning I unlock the MoHo with the sterling remote as normal, get in put the Fiat key (pic below) in the ignition and turn the key to position one, the lock light and glow plug light goes out the fuel pump runs and the MoHo starts as normal so I pull forward and turn off and remove the key so I can load up. I then Load the moho for the off and then repeat the above and the lock light (pic below) and glow plug light stay on and the fuel pump does not run and the moho does not start (but will turn over). I thought I had just gone to fast with the start procedure (never had a problem before) so I tried a couple more times and it started, tried it again just in case and it started. So off we went and must have stopped and started it 10 times with no issues.
Came home yesterday and reversed onto our drive and just as I got to our parking place the lock light and the glow plug light came on and the van stalled (stopped running). No matter what I try now, the lock light and glow plug light will not go out and the fuel pump will not run.
Looking on line most seem to point to it being the chip in the key fob (pic below) but any ideas, pointers to try or help will be more than welcome.
Is there a get me home solution if it happens again when we are away from home, I think it was only by good luck that it happened as I parked on our drive.
Thanks in advance
Dave
