So the covid rules changed again in October for those travelling to and from France. My interpretation for fully vaccinated... you don't need to do any tests on arrival in France but on return to UK you must have booked a test before you leave France for a lateral flow test in the UK around day 2. Is that correct? Sorry but have read conflicting info on govt websites. I know about certification PL forms etc. thanks.

Correct.

You must order a Day 2 LFT before returning to the U.K. as you need to enter the Ref. no. of the LFT on your PLF.
The Day 2 LFT will be delivered to your home for you to do the test when you return. NHS tests (i.e. free tests) are not acceptable.

Simplytestme £12 will send the code immediately for the UK Passenger locator form and tests to your address ready for day 2 which is really day 3 as the travel day is day 0.
