Just changed a chunk of Sterling for Euro's??

I wonder how much difference it's going to make to personal imports of vehicles post Brexit theres probably a pent up demand if the rates rise.

I've not yet read the article (just the headline) but I can see that happening. TBH I've actually thought it for a while now:

a. The EU is now a fractured gang of troubled countries which in all honesty is never a good thing for a strong currency.

b. The relevance of the USD€ is rapidly diminishing while the currency itself (as an international stronghold) is now being replaced by Bitcoin and others.

I've got time to wait so I'll see how my predictions unfold over the next few years

Even HMRC recognise Bitcoin as an asset for taxation.
Many pundits suggest the demise of the USD as and international base currency, given the money printing on both sides of the Atlantic logic seems to suggest inflation is likely, coupled with higher unemployment the outcomes are predictable from past experience.
Plus a "war" on savings (my view) of potential negative interest rates etc. Likely to encourage savers to spend our future is one of great interest to those looking in, not so enjoyable for those at the sharp end.
Each of us needs to make there own plans for some form of financial security, every pundit has a view coloured by inbuilt self interest, consider the recent case of a major comparison sites self interest, not yours or mine.
Consider, plan, and action do not be fooled your on your own.

I use Afex. Much better than high street rates.

Revolut was offering 1.12.4 when I looked on Friday ( no point in looking now as they always knock a couple of cents off at weekends )

Not good news for the country though. Seems they are expecting Boris to capitulate over Brexit. As Trump said the Germans are able to hide behind a cheap currency.
So much for a level playing field. Tariff free and undervalued currency more of the same old same old misery for industry in the North and Midlands.

Not sure how in date your graph is?
Just showing what happened before some vote in 2016....I was watching how this vote was predicted to go..living in Eurozone I could wait till the next day and make a big exchange between Pound and Euro...no point doing anything that evening....I will make a killing tomorrow.....BOOM..the rest is history....

Always be weary when a hedge fund make any public prediction, they could be just doing as they have a short bet on it going the opposite way.

Quite.

And I think the rules against insider trading cannot aply to currency trades.
