I am planning to go to Croatia this year, can anyone confirm I can travel from Italy through Slovenia to
Croatia without a vignette. All the info I can gather is fairly old and road regulations may have changed.
If anyone has done this trip recently I would appreciate an update.

You just need to find the a7 from trieste into croatia. But you will find tolls on the italian and croatian sides, in expensive though

You can avoid the need for a vignette in Slovenia by avoiding motorways which is quite easy as it`s only a small country.
Tolls in Italy seem to be worth paying for as the alternatives can be pot holed and slow
I`m hoping to head that way too in June

Came back in October from Croatia through Slovenia into Iltaly avoiding all tolls without a problem . If travelling at busier times you also avoid potential long queues at the border crossing .
