Not long enough!
Having been born on an Island, I suppose I have a certain infinity with them, (is that the word?) anyway I love em, not been on too many of these, but I thought this might be of interest, some of them are simply idyllic and they are all in the UK (y) how many have you been on??

Broken Link Removed

It has website details on each one(y)

Oh Wizzer.... Paradise on earth ..... how beautiful.... oh if only we could guarantee the weather. Thank you for posting those... loved em. :)

Only 6 .....must make amends trouble is I am always drawn back to the ones I know!

If your born in the UK then surely you were born on an Island. :)

Only 4 (Wight, Man, Brownsea & Anglesey) Never been to Scotland or Ireland (though if you have, that counts too as well as the rest of GB anyway) so that rules out nearly all of the rest of them.

They never even mentioned Barry !! (not that I've been there, just saying LOL)

Lived in Scotland all of my life but have only been to Arran and Gigha. My daughter's young man was being sent to Islay last week through his work but he wasn't keen, silly boy.:D

Been to Scilly, Northumberland, Outer Hebrides & The Orkney so have been lucky enough to have 'done' quite a few.
But not yet the Channel Islands, nor Wight, not even Anglesey to my shame.
Nice link, thank you @wizzer59 .

I've been to 15 of them ..... though to be honest getting to St Kilda would be quite difficult even though it is on my bucket list!

Quite a few of the "yet to be explored" places are already on our list, and I do love islands.

Im quite amazed by the numbers that admit to never being in Scotland, then again Ive only ever been to Wales once and that was a fleeting glance to deliver a parcel.

And yes theres others on the forum that arent Scottish and saw more of the islands I have and due to their posts Im slowly changing that.

Used to live in Wales and all the kids were born there. Part of my Mum's family are Welsh.... trying to trace that side of the family tree is brick walls.

13 :)

edited to correct original count.
