Is this wiring to the solar controller ok?

I had 2 x 100w solar panels and a MPPT controller installed in May last year by a mobile technician.
The two panels are each wired direct to the controller and the picture shows the two positive wires squashed into the pos terminal and the two neg into the neg terminal. I didn’t think anything of it at the time but I have seen wiring for 2 panels as either series or parallel and they aren’t like this on those diagrams.

I connected my two panels on the roof then ran a single paired cable to the controller with 6mm cable.

Im certainly no expert but checked with others on here if that was a good option.

Probably had to use the crimp connections as cables wouldn’t go into the controller.
 
Many thanks for the replies. I am realistic to know this time of year solar production is limited, but even with 200w only really did 2 days without ehu. Checked the installation, all tight connections, but it made me wonder if this way of connecting was in some way inefficient. Worked well over the summer so no problems, thanks for putting mind at rest.
