Interesting but as it's self fit & no Thatcham approvals insurance companies won't accept it.
I do like the idea of sending "The Boys" round to get your vehicle back.

I can track our van via GPS location information so no real gain there.
If the scroats find and remove the tracker dumping it in a ditch, then how are the "boy" going to continue to find your van, and if your van is nicked while on the continent, I rather think that their find your van service will end at the white cliffs of Dover.

25 Years ago I was paying Close Protection Officers £150 to £250 a day. And yet this company will send a team around for less than a monkey. Talking of peanuts and Monkeys; you would hope such a "professional team" was working in the name of the tracking company, rather than the vehicle owner, as if they don't know what they are doing they could get one into serious trouble.

£349 for recovery would hardly pay expenses let alone labour.

We had a gte tracker fitted and paid around £500 to have it installed and £450 for life time monitoring. fully insurance approved we have 2 credit sized cards and need to activate one of them before we start up, if we forget we get a phone call almost instantly. We can tract it ourselves and has the last 6 months data. To the extent we were able to prove we stopped at a French traffic light when we got a fine for going through it. What happens if the tracker is found and thrown out with this new system.

It does say Thatcham S7 approval for what it’s worth

The £349 recovery fee is on top of the £9.99 a month subscription for which they have costs of less than 10% on for sim data etc.

If they have 1,000 customers that is £9,000 a month profit. to which they can add the £349 income for a recovery and I suspect that they have to pay more than this for the recovery team.

Basically what I am saying is that the £349 is what they charge you, not what they pay the team.
