This tech looks good if it comes to fruition

Graphene is the new marvel material, what an interesting article, I had seen the suggestion that Graphene in Car bodies could ultimately be used as the power source doing away with the need for a separate battery pack as the body work is the battery!

Yes been using graphene LiPo batteries for a few years now in my RC’s. New battery technology (in the next decade) will make the type of cells we are using today, seem like steam power compared to ICE...

Eco friendly I guess no big holes dug mining the mineral, no oil burning vessels transporting it, no disposal issues.
New technology new challenges

They dig big holes mining bauxite and refining it to Ali uses vast amounts of lekky.

One reason Apple products are now made from recycled aluminium 👍

It's about half the weight for the same energy storage, compared to lithium. Which is about half compared to lead-acid. 160Wh/kg compared to 80Wh/kg for lithium and 40Wh/kg for lead-acid. The fast charging and discharging is brilliant. (An LPG cylinder is about 6000Wh/kg)

Ah, but can it match hydrogen.........sorry.

Don’t apologise there is always room for alternate energy sources 👍 otherwise we would be stuck with lithium

Just think how light and strong an LPG container would be if made from Graphene
