If you are coming to the Malvern Show this weekend.....

There is a diversion in place as you come off the A449 at Powick.

The B4424 is closed - and it really is closed closed! You will come across the barricades quite suddenly and you won't have much time to react. Carry on round to the right and follow the yellow signs.

The diversion takes you towards Malvern and along the B4208. Watch out for the brown Showground sign on a right turn.

It's going to be fun tomorrow if still closed!!

That’s a tight road and will be interesting if 1000s of motorhomes have to go on that diversion. It was closed last week so unlikely to be open by tomorrow .

I think the signage said it was closed until September 2nd, new gas main being laid.

Probably not.

Looking at Google maps, the closure appears to be at the Worcester end.

Thanks a lot Folks for reminding me of one the few disadvantages I experience now I am based in Portugal.

I used to LOVE going to Malvern (and Peterbrough etc).

Probably too late for everyone but there’s a new roundabout under construction at A38/A4104 - to Upton upon Severn. Several way traffic lights etc
