The new Heki 2 DeLuxe hatch arrived yesterday, and as soon as the weather was fine enough I set about removing the old base unit. I needn't have worried about removing the glue, the thing just about fell out on its own! I don't know if the Lone Ranger fixed the leak the last time, or perhaps it was Hopalong Cassidy, but here's a couple of picks of the approx one kilogram of sealant that was loosely affixed!:eek:

This a classic example of why I do all the work myself...
