Well many will remember my attempt at the Hardmoors 55 mile foot race across the Yorkshire moors. Many sponsored me and sadly I collapsed at 40 miles and couldn't continue.

yesterday I returned and smashed it. all 55 miles of it running pretty much nn stop from Guisborough to Helmsley. Medal on chest and T shirt to boot...

Proud as punch and remember it's not too late to sponsor me for the big city marathon tour of Paris and London in a fortnight....

no getting me to wasted at Chester that I cant train.

Fantastic...Well done! You have every right to be so proud of yourself.I couldnt even do one mile. :)

well done ..I had a read about the event after your first post, and couldn't believe they do even longer events (100 miles or more )..
that's done now so hope you are injury free and best of luck for your two marathons. (paris on the 12th I think)
daughter just back last week from the paris half marathon and really enjoyed it.

Well done Paul massive achievement hats off to you, I've only done a 33 miler and I know how I felt at the end. If I bump into you in London I'll get you a pint, an offer of a pint from a Scotsman that shows you how much I think of your achievement.

Did an easy 8 miler today and sitting with ice pack on now and only 5 weeks to go.

A like is nowhere near enough Paul

Amazing respect, now feel really bad at driving to shops today 1/2 mile away, in my defence though I did say I should have walked :D

I did a sixteen mile cross country race many decades ago, Combe Gibbet to Overton in Hampshire. I found it was about my limit so a very well done for doing 55 miles! Quite amazing feat.

Well done from us. We will see you at Chester and sponsor you.
