5 years, feel free to ask me about the Carado!!
I don't normally drive long distances in the dark, one of the reasons being its safer in the light........my dashcam confirmed the smell of burning brakes & rubber on the M6 resulted in a loose tyre flashing past me in the half light, just avoiding a nasty incident by a few inches......

Don't mind motorways and toll roads in Euroland at night. if i want to get down the road a good bit.

I much prefer to drive long distances at night.

I work nights 50% of the time, the roadworks on the Motorway network drive me nuts! Sometimes you actually don’t save any time. The other week a one lane contra flow was set up on the aberration that is the M6 by Stafford and somehow, some drivers got stuck behind breakdowns for over 5 hours. Some drivers even pulled their curtains and went to bed!

Night time is so much quieter, but try to avoid the roadworks.

Much prefer distance driving at night (a throwback from night trunk days) less idiots on the road ,yes roadworks but always have a plan B,C....

One night on the M4, half a commercial tyre carcass appeared suddenly in the carriageway. it was like driving over a speedbump at 70 mph. Eeeek!
