Currently on a Stellplatz in the Eiffel national park in Germany, and the lady next door is doing her thing! Strange innit, the things folk carry in their motorhomes?

........or am I just spinning a yarn?

We always take our spinning wheel with us and a loom just in case we have to make a tapestry rug

Could be the beginnings of a tank top.

you think you jest ... when we bought our house it had recently been let out to an Irish show jumper/horse dealer and his German girlfriend. She had a spinning wheel and, when we moved in, the recycling bin was filled with books on witchcraft ...
 
As a Yorkshireman I'd sit darn wi' her and 'ave a glass o' t'wine

Just another idea to generate your own electricity......... It won't catch on
 
Been carrying our spinning wheel around with us in the van for the last three years but never had the courage to sit and use it in public. Now if we had been on the same aire we'd have defiantly parked a chair next to her and had a chat.

Thing is we've got 12 washed fleeces also in the van so need to crack on and spin the stuff.
