I wonder if anyone has dimantled the Boomerang pivot mounting on a 2006 era Hymer.
Mine had partially siezed & although I've freed them off I would like to take them apart to clean & grease.
A little bit of fore knowledge is always good.
Any advice greatfully received. Thanks

The mounting where it attaches to the cab wall (A class) is basically an inverted V. Gentle tapping from below (rubber hammer) will free it. The whole unit is quite heavy so dont hit it without being aware that it could fall off completely. I loosened off the two bolts on the arm and that I think is what softens up the spring action
