I think our hymer 2013 has these high level white/red marker lights.
Two questions
1 Does the lens cover come off without damage, how?

2 led replacement festoon bulb will need to shine forward and back. Most festoon replacements are single sided.
Anyone care to recommend suitable led replacement?

I can't help with replacement bulb, but yes, the clear lens just unclips from one end by lifting it with a finger nail or pen knife.

Its intermittant, but when the mot man gave it a tap it worked today☺️

With no screws holding lens I assumed it prised off/ unclipped but good to know for sure. Thanks.

Am hoping led will outlive need to remove lens again but no good if it only shines one direction.

I agree with DavidG58 and can see no benefit in going LED as you will normally only only have them on with the engine running therefor no effect on leisure batteries.

As a matter of interest I bought 2 complete new lights last week as one of mine has some moisture in it.

Probably corrosion on the bulb contact due to moisture.

They are very easy to flick off, in fact I'm surprised they don't get knocked off with overhanging branches.

Good to hear they come off easily. I had visions of having to warm them first, will still do, and even then breaking the locking tab!
