HI,

i hope this is the right forum for this Q?

I have a 14 plate Exsis i 562 built on a transit chassis. id like to change the ford radio / cd console for something a bit more updated to include sat nav. I haven't a clue what to look for or where to go for advice. can anyone help?

cheers

I wouldn't get a built in satnav. They're are often out of date when purchased, and cost a fortune to update. Spend half the amount on a top of the range TomTom (,for example) and get free updates to maps and software. The best thing you could do with the existing radio is fit a good external arial.

Hi this is the system I put in mine same so similar models and the reception is great using a window antenna, I agree with emjaiuk fit a new radio and just use a standalone sat/nav below is a photo of mine.
