Hello all
Looking into getting our first motor home. My favourite is the library bus style (A Class)) and I like the idea of as much space as possible so a drop down bed is our preference. Budget wise we don’t really want to spend over the £35,000 mark. My favourite layout is the bench seats style in a Hymer B584 ( two identical sized bench seats opposite each other ) with the kitchen/bathroom at the opposite end of the van to drivers seats - see link https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/classifieds/hymer-b584-for-sale.4261/
I've seen a couple around the £25000 mark (2004-2005 ) and figure we could spend a little bit ironing out a few problems and pimping /pretting it up.
Can anyone suggest any similar motorhomes which may fit the bill. The layout is important as we are going to spend a couple of months at a time in it and space is the priority - we also have a Labrador who takes up much floor space!
Neither of us are mechanically minded or handy so are we daft getting one that old ?
Can we get that layout in other younger models ( I’ve seen the Chausson 6040 A class - can’t afford !!) ?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. We aren’t in a rush but if the right one came up tomorrow we’d go for it.
