Looks absolutely fine on Google Maps. Unhitch the toad if necessary.
You could phone and ask them if you're worried.

Thanks Spriddler our brother-in-law was in the area over the weekend and thought the access was tight.
Like you suggest we can always uncouple if not sure.
Farmers wife said her husband drives Arctic lorries in so fingers crossed.

The road across river at Barden tower is quite tight??

Steep uphill straight away afterwards too.

Might be better coming from north.

Thanks Jamesh will consider this.

I wouldn’t come from north down New Lane from the B 6265 since the left turn into Hazler Lane is a hairpin bend on a very steep descent. Easiest approach is through Appletrewick from Burnsall As Jamesh says bridge at Bardeen Tower is tight . In addition approach from south involves negotiating the narrow and low arch at Bolton Abbey. I would add a few miles by going Skipton Threshfield and back down to Burnsall as above. If approaching from the east stay on B6265 to Grassington an over river up to Threshfield.

Thank you Mapman we are coming from Ashbourne Derbyshire.
Might not take the toad as there are 2 pubs within walking distance and plenty of walks from the site

Thanks for the directions, spot on. We would never have been able to turn into the farm on the hairpin bend (y) lovely site, lots of walks from the site and two pubs within walking distance (it took us 20 mins). Views from site amazing. The site also has a shower/toilet block and chemical toilet waste etc. Glad we took the car as we decided to go on the Strid Wood, Bolton Abbey circular walk (about 7 miles)

Glad you enjoyed your stay. I cycled past on Monday and saw a motorhome which may have been yours. Did you find the Brownie Barn? - you could probably see it from the farm. It’s a great area for both walking and cycling.

Yes that was ours. Lovely walking area for us and the dog. What is the Brownie Barn? We will certainly go back to this farm again (y)

Brownie Barn on Howgill Lane just over the field from Howarth Farm. Local HQ of Love Brownies - they make a vast range of brownies for several outlets plus a great cafe with super views.

Googled it earlier, Thanks for pointing it out it will be on the list of places to visit next time.

Used that site in the early 80s. The farmer, I think his name was John, was a good guy. Used to charge me £30 a month to leave the caravan there and stay as many days as I liked. I think his son took over but not sure who owns it now. Keep thinking I'd like to go back but it looks like it's £30 a night.

Farmers are the Tysons. They charge £18.00 per night which includes toilet, shower block and toilet waste(y)
