Hello
Can anyone tell me a way of capping the roof there a hole in it from an old satellite dish and they the old owner just screwed a single blank plug socket on it and sealed it
But looks rubbish
Is there a blanking cap I can put on it and seal it will look better

Why not send a photo?. I would probably fit a flat sheet of alloy or UPC on top sikaflexed but I'm an amateur!!

I get pic tomorrow
You or a blanking plate for an Ariel
So it looks better

There is a blanking plate for Maxview Aerials.
Nothing more than a largish plastic disc.
Fix with stuff used for resealing joints etc... Name escapes me.

Sikaflex

Sika flex yes I think that’s the way to go
A good blob of sika and seal round plate job done

I’ve done this where I took an old TV aerial out. Makes a neat job and I can’t see it from the ground.

I used a 40mm PVC waste pipe blanking plug stuck in with Sikaflex, looks great

My old van had white painted ali plate stuck down and sealed with some sort of sealant probably sikaflex never leaked.

Here the mess
I went to a printers today to get some t shirts printed and they had a plastic sheet they use for outside signs and there cutting me a bit to use and it white so sorted

The stuff specifically formulated for caravans and motorhomes is sikaflex 522.

As I understand it it's better in the sunlight and movement than others? 👍
