A boat's hull takes a pounding from things in the water and docking. A bit of sticky backed plastic can't stand up to that.

There's a small boat in Poole Quay marina wrapped in a black carbon finish, the sun's been busy taking it apart ever since !!

Gel-coat is also essentially plastic of course, 'proper' boats are made of wood or steel :). No idea what the boat in the post is made of though, looks nice, good off road but tricky across mountainous areas..

Top Camper choice, I expect Mr. Bellami is already on the blower to Globecar right now..
 
Agree with both of you,I preferred it in the original white.
Lottery money though,not to just buy but to maintain too,wouldn’t be for me even if I won!

You’re not wrong, came through 5M seas between Gib and here on Wednesday, ( which is why they put in here?) and it took a chunk of the wrap off?

I don't know about the rest of you but that is definitely not how my other half lives.

(well not as far as I know anyway :unsure: :Eeek::eek:)
