We bought our Autocruise in 2020 from Cranhams in Essex, part of the deal was they fitted an outside gas fitting for a barbi and an awning on the roof, in the event they fitted a fiamma 80f.
All good or so we thought, after a couple of years I noticed that it appeared to have sagged and was catching on the edge of the roof, on investigation it didn't appear they had used the right brackets so I ordered the correct ones.
Today I took the awning off and the picture below shows you what I found.
The one in the background is the type they should have fitted, you can see the difference.
The ducato has four mounting lugs on either side of the roof, these are designed for roof racks and fiamma use them to hold the awning, they give a very solid fixing, unlike the two screws and bit of glue used by Cranhams.
If you want something done properly, do it yourself.
