Just back from a week messing about near Ludlow. Decided to visit a NT property up near Shrewsbury so contacted a place called Love2stay to pitch up for two nights. The happy soul on the end of the phone said £84 !! I had ask him twice to repeat this. For 2 adults no dogs or children. Went to Bridgnorth instead.

Bridgnorth is lovely - I will be there tomorrow ??

I think that love2stay is part of the Salop Leisure complex.

Blimey, I've just got back from my trip to Portugal we spent a total of €32.50 on 44 nights camping. No wonder we don't bother with the UK.

nothing wrong with being a FLT is there Lenny. Being a FLT gives you more Euros to spend on food and drink.

We have just returned from europe, 7 weeks, 5000 miles, so about £1000 in fuel, less than £120 on overnight stops. Travelled from Highlands to Rome via Germany and Austria, back through France ferry from Harwich £250 return.
We used Stelplatz and aires, brilliant, had 3 nights on site near Rome, and night in Nancy by canal.
