Hover Fly

One of the reasons for me getting a Motorhome was for my hobbies of fishing and photography (mainly wildlife but I dabble in other genres too).

As part of the wildlife stuff I do, I really enjoy Marco photography. Here's a couple I took earlier on in May:

The second picture reminds me of a harrier jump jet ,some what similar in its abilities to hover and fly backwards .

Very much alive. There's not much of a challenge photographing dead insects

I love to watch the Hover flies, they always seem as tho they come over and hover there watching what you’re doing!

I was crawling all over one at the Doncaster meet a few weeks ago, strangely i failed to say "this looks just like a hover fly".
