Hi everyone I have a 2002 FIAT DUCATO NIESMANN &amp BISCHOFF ARTO MOTORHOME

Water pump does not work however it works when it is directly from battery. Would anyone be able to tell me what (in photo) is it inside water tank; and what it is used for .? Also I’m wondering if anyone had had the same problem with the pump ,thanks

Do you think if level poles are not working it would stop pump working thanks

The level probes only tell how much water is in the tank, they are notoriously unreliable. Try the pump fuse first, if that's ok trace the wiring if you can.

Thanks I will try trace wiring tomorrow let you know how I get on

Each tap will have a micro switch in it. Probably fed from one fuse and switched on by a water on switch on your control panel.
