Before this head unit bounces down the road lol does anybody have the same one.
Long story short, battery came out and back in so now nothing works apart the front screen which is all in Chinese.
Instructions are rubbish, so guess it is a cheapo Chinese piece of rubbish.
Think I know where it will end up, but thought I would just ask first.
TIA.

Mark.

Is the small holes at the top a reset you stick a pin in

Neil

One is a reset hole the other the microphone in for Bluetooth. Just check to see which one before you prod a pointy needle in there

Plenty of very similar ones on eBay using Pumpkin android software
Should be easy enough to reset

Kev

I would be guessing that the one on the left (as you look) is the reset (sort of marker point next to it) and if you stretched your imagination the one on the right may look like an audio figure.

That doesnt improve your chances a lot !!!!

If you want to wait I can get it translated for you but not til Saturday. (not the whole lot just the reset button) as have numerous chinese students still at work

Alternatively go back to where you bought it (ebay presumably) and look at similar ones and see if there are any clues to the english instructions or a diagram.
If you can see the diagram and can post a picture of it where it explains in chinese I can probably get that translated today for you as i could send that into work and get an answer back in an hour or so

Thanks for your help people, seems to be the right hand hole is the one. You can feel something depress when pushed with a needle, but it does not reset itself so am guessing it is probably knackered.
Will give it a couple of more tries then it could be a search for a new one.

Thanks again for the help.
