Help required welding near Manchester

Hi All

We need new sills welding on our Vario. We have the sills just need a good welder not expensive as have been let down. If anybody can recommend somebody please. We live Heywood north of Manchester.

Would love to help but to far to travel and my welding ok for me but wouldn’t do other folks work

See if any of the local colleges do welding as a course and speak to them. I had some work done years ago in Reading on a Herald with chassis outrigger rot. (more than 25 years ago!) The students did an excellent job under the instructor guidance and they were pleased to have a real vehicle to learn on. It went straight to the MOT station and the examiner commented at how well it had been done. It cost me the materials that I provided and a donation.

Can you Ade the total amount of the work in photos
Insid sills any serous rust spots and parts that nead welding whare you may have to remove interior fixtures and fittings insulation
Any thing that can and will go on fire
Your aproxemetly 66 miles form me if you have room on your drive and power garden hose I might be abil to help but dont expect a spray shop finish
But will nead a full picture of the work involved
Have welder will travel
Helping out a funster is all it is
Only cost fuile and cost of wilding wire cutting grinding sanding disc
Lots of tea and coffee

Hi Bill Thanks I’ll pm you with some photos. We have 3 sils and and internal one where the dent is on drivers side and the middle one on the other. It’s parked on my mums drive when we are not out.
