We are picking our grandchildren (7+4) up from somewhere between Disney Paris and Calais next Sunday on or way home after 6 weeks away. They will have spent the weekend at Disney (so a relaxing stop over might be helpful) their parents have to be back for work, but the children don't need to be back until Tuesday afternoon.
Can anyone recommend a nice Aire with park, lake etc so they can come down from the 'highs of excitement' after Disney, without too much of a detour? We don't need another theme park style stopover (though it's not completely out of the question), just somewhere to kick a ball around and play on a park. Our shuttle is booked for Tuesday morning, so we have from Sunday afternoon and mid morning Tuesday (2 nights) to meander slowly between Paris and Calais, without too much if a detour is prob the main criteria!
