Rally Chat Help! Looking for a Christmas 2023 Rally Venue - Any Suggestions? (1 Viewer)

The Adria Owners Club have just held their annual Christmas Rally at Eye Kettlebye Lakes near Melton Mowbray. We've been using this site each year for well over a decade.
However, they cannot offer us a weekend booking in December 2023 because they will be holding "Live Music Events" each weekend. Obviously much more lucrative than our rally! Very disappointing but understand their situation.
They can offer us a mid week booking but we're looking for a replacement weekend venue in "Middle England" for around 60 to 70 units (moho and caravans) with adequate catering for a Christmas dinner with entertainment. Preferably with EHU and waste facilities etc.
Knowing Funsters experience of rallies, I thought that someone might have suggestions for a replacement venue. We are looking at 2/3 or 9/10 December 2023.

We were at Drax the cooling towers at night were illuminated with colour, it was an awesome site. The clubhouse is very good with restaurant. Grass site though so winter might be a bit soggy.
Huge electric gene across the road for hook ups

Speak to a Farmer with an empty field and barn, then hire a large generator and effluent tank from an event hire company or

Thanks but not for us. We've always used a commercial site, usually with ehu and showers. Eye Kettleby is ideal. We may go for a midweek booking just to retain the venue.
