At heligan for a few days - it’s pretty full but absolutely quiet , lovely . Nice 2 mile walk down to megavissy , pasty , and a convenient bus ride back with the two old dogs . Couldn’t be easier .

Being a wild camper :-) I love their new toilet and wash block

Was there last week. Gardens are lovely.

Was there last year - loved it, did the gardens, and took the pedal bikes to Mevagissey and then on to FIDGET s home town of Gorran.

Is that the one that used to be called Pengrugla? We went with the caravan about 25 yrs ago & were put on the steepest pitch I've ever seen, bricks under the steadies as the ground fell away so much!

The garden restoration hadn't been going long & we could slip through the hedge in an evening when all the visitors had gone - absolutely magical.

Great site. I love the way they have "self-levelling" pitches so that you drive your motorhome up or down the ramp to get it level without the need of ramps. The new toilet block is wonderful! Shame that one of the wardens is thinking about giving up as she is fed up of the attitude of some campers.

25 years ago ? How old do you think I am ? :-)

Go there weekly out of season , nice dog walk as we have a locals pass , only go occasionally during summer months
Lovely in spring too crowded currently

Hey Jewellbags
I see you have put up a lot of "fencing" around your plot, are the neighbours being troublesome.? ;)
Have fun it looks like a lovely site, great views but we dont use them much these days.:giggle:
The lost Gardens documentary was on the tele last week, amazing how much work was done, plus money spent to get there.
