If I bring my Spanish Registered Motorhome to the UK, do i have to fit the proper headlight deflectors or can i just mask the part of the beam that is pointing the wrong way? or do nothing?
I believe its illegal to do nothing and wondered if just masking the beam is OK
Thanks

Masking/insulation tape will do the job.
Proper 'beam benders' take the guesswork out of positioning and only cost a few quid but can damage plastic lamp lenses when removed.
Some right hand dip headlamps can be adjusted to UK left hand dip.

Thank you have found a simple chart on this Forum that shows exactly how to mask the headlight. Masking tape it is.

Watch with masking tape as when it gets hot it makes it very difficult to remove ! if you can go to local Vynal supplier and ask for black off cut and this can be cut to size 25mmx 40mm and fit to headlight over dip bulb, this will do the job that you require and is very easily removed.
This is what id do when we cross the channel and have done for past 20+ years with no problems.
