Stopped off in Hawick and on leaving there yesterday we were informed by the Tourist 'officers' that Friday overnights are now allowed, although the notices still say otherwise.

Apparently the Saturday market has been moved away from the motorhome parking allowing easy access to the aire.

Also informed that the big car park in Jedburgh, by Canongate, can be used for overnighting, but I don't know about the facilities there.

Hawick has been like that for a wee while now.
Jedburgh has a toilet block underneath the tourist information office.
