Having problems installing Thule awning for safari room

Anyone come across problems when fitting a safari room to a Thule awning?

Previously worked fine but now the awning sides seem to have bowed in around the middle by a few inches and will not stretch to lock onto the safari room roof/side support bars.

Any suggestions, I have tried moving the support bars in at the van end with no joy.

I have a Thule omnistor awning and also a G3 residence safari room. I can't visualise your problem. Can you upload a picture please?
