Norfolk at a pub just before the open derestricted stretch to Great Yarmouth.

Used to moor her at Brundal.

My favoured stop was overnighting at The Reedham Inn ready for sunday lunch and back to Brundal to sleep it off:Wink:and up early for work on Monday:cry:

 40 years ago this week we were on Honeymoon on the Norfolk Broads. Started off from Potter Heigham. It was a fantastic week. Rained every night and was sunny every day.

Sold my boat to buy motorhome, at the moment I still have my BWW mooring and thinking could I afford to buy a smaller boat and because I now have the motorhome would I have time for both.

Guys, you have some lovely boats,
I bet that it is really fun, especially the narrow boat.
Thanks for sharing your pics.

Boats

Well, I have had more boats than I can remember, but I was in the marine trade for over 20 years.
We had a lot of ski boats and even entered the first ever cross channel waterski race in 1967.
Done cruiser sailing and motorcruising, but that was before motorhoming:Rofl1:
Any kind of boating is ok with me:thumb:

That sounds great
What made you chose motorhoming over boating?

Gill

When I was boating I always said "I would rather be a do'er than a watcher!!"
But when I got out of the marine trade I had too many good memories that couldn't be bettered!
I decided to just sit by a piece of water with a bottle of wine and a meal!:Rofl1:
You now see why I always like to camp by water
I wouldn't mind another boat, but it would have to be about 40ft and I would cruise the oceans and never return, but too old for that and I don't think that Kath would want to do it:cry:
Therefore Motorhoming will be for us and I do like it!!!!:thumb:
