Tomorrow, We’re in Alne mid way through a lovely10 days here. We saw it advertised as we were heading to Knaresborough Golf Club yesterday and thought it might be a laugh. What kind of things are they likely to have on show do you think? We’re going to Easingwold market today, assuming Kathryn surfaces from her pit soon!! Ha! Ha!

We used a site at Harrogate near a posh farm shop. Just looked and went to the supermarket up the road, as it was a very nice but a bit out of our league

We have just got back from the show , a little disappointing really and quite small . But in saying that it felt good to get out and pretend every thing is back to normal for a short while and for only a fiver I guess it was ok

Funny that site was no where near full today ,at a guess half empty I would have thought it would be rammed on a bank holiday and with the show on.

I went in there when stopping at Harrogate Caravan site recently, I'm with you very expensive in my opinion, but just with the cafe etc.

Stayed at that site last year. Very nice, and handy having Sainsbury’s at the end of the road.

Just home traffic horrendous both ways but then it is bank holiday. It was a nice little show lots of PVCs on sale and a few accessories. It was a nice day out also met up with a relative who had a stall there not Motorhome specific stuff. Was lovely to see him.
wasn’t too busy and felt quite safe. Struggled with the walking on uneven ground don’t know what ai have done to my hip and knee had to stop at services to buy ibuprofen. Would have had some with me if we had gone in the motorhome

Been today and as already been said it’s quite a small show. But it was SO good to be out again.

Not too busy and lots of hand sanitation points etc if you’re worried about that sort of thing.

Our original plan was to go to the show to get out new camper van; we didn’t have the patience to wait though and picked our new van up on 5 May. I’m so glad we didn’t wait, prices looked very “firm” shall we say, although quite a few vans were marked as sold by the time we left at 2.00.

No Autosleepers dealer there, so again glad we had already got ourself sorted as we had AS and IH on the shortlist and wanted to compare them directly - which we wouldn’t have been able to do. Still like the IHs though

Picked up a few bits we wanted, but didn’t manage to get some Milenco Quattro ramps that we wanted. The ramps the dealer threw in as part of the deal don’t give much rise.

There wasn’t much choice of food either, a cafe inside the main hall but the outside caterers were only one burger stand, Cornish pasty stand, and a coffee stand. So we just had coffee and cake to see us on...

Overall a good day out, only 15 miles away from us so the relatively small size of show etc wasn’t too disappointing as we’d not gone far to see it. Might have been a bit more upset if I’d spent a couple of hours getting there though!

Like the above good to go to a show again , glad we got free subscriber tickets due to the size of the show you could do the show in just over an hour it took us longer than that to queue up then walk up the hill and get in . Food in the local cafe top notch with price to match
