Is it possible to hardwire a Tomtom using a standard USB cable and a piggy-back fuse?

I used a 12v to 5v adaptor wired into the courteousy light wiring with the converter box above the roof lining.

Thanks. I assume the reason that it runs from a standard USB is that the output of a Type A port is already 5V.

Buy the tomtom hardwire kit. It comes with an inline adapter.

I piggy-backed on my RHD 2019 Ducato to the fusebox ahead of the driver's right knee.
