Handbrake cable for Swift Kontiki

We have a Swift Kontiki at our garage and we need to get hold of a handbrake cable. Have tried to get one but have been told that we need the alcohol chassis number which we do not have. Does anyone know where we can get a handbrake cable from? (F803 WBV)

I’m assuming you mean the Alko chassis plate which should be on the vehicle somewhere. Try the door shuts or on the back of the external locker doors.

If it's still there they have put them on the RH side of the chassis just in front of the axle.

Thanks all - will keep looking for it, no luck so far! It is a Fiat front (with this plate under the bonnet) and Alko chassis but just no Alko chassis plate anywhere. Not sure why it doesn't seem to be on thus vehicle.

Thanks! We have not got the original cable unfortunately. Someone else has replaced it with the wrong length cable and has tried to make it fit but it does not. If we measure the chassis, has someone got one out there that might be the same length and might get us out of trouble?

It may be worth talking to speedycables as they may have made one before for a Kontiki and know the sizes and fittings needed for a replacement item.
