The Thetford Model Number REFR N4142E+ -N202V187R51CI, often referred to as tall 142 litre in the sales blurb on Motorhomes, in our new to us MH didn't seem able to retain stuff in position after travelling. Particularly in the freezer section.
Found a reference to Hamster Baskets https://www.hamsterbaskets.co.uk in a thread deep in the bowels of MHF, so enquired about a set of baskets for each fridge shelf and the freezer compartment.
Sent an e-mail enquiry on Sunday, phone call received on Monday to make payment, arrived Thursday following week.
For ref the sizes are:
Freezer basket: Depth (front to back) 24cm, Width (left to right) 26cm, Height (top to bottom) 19cm
Top Fridge basket: Depth (front to back) 15cm, Width (left to right) 31cm, Height (top to bottom) 19cm
Middle Fridge basket: Depth (front to back) 24cm, Width (left to right) 31cm, Height (top to bottom) 15cm
Bottom Fridge basket: Depth (front to back) 24cm, Width (left to right) 31cm, Height (top to bottom) 27cm
The fridge has a constant width of 31cm, hence the fridge baskets are the same width.
The top Fridge area has the cooling fins at the rear, hence the lesser depth.
They look the dog's bollox. We can now fill the shelves without fear of stuff falling out after a journey.
