We’ve managed to break the handle on the habitation door on our Burstner Nexxo 685 -see attached photos.
The door is a Hartal and fitted to many makes of motorhomes and caravans - the quoted price from Burstner is close to £300 and includes the whole assembly which we don’t require. Anyone experienced similar?

If you do have to buy a new one let me have the old one to see if they are repairable.
Or send me that one and I'll see what I can do.
I have the same handle on my Burstner.

It looks like it's chrome plated polycrackathene ? ;)

I still do a exchange service on a Rapido door handle.
Although that one is an easy repair.

Tis a steel tube for the strength to operate the locking mechanism but then encased in a plastic(ish) moulding and this is the bit that has failed.

Update - After a search of all the Burstner parts departments and a quote of nearly £300 for a replacement I managed to get my door locking mechanism fixed my a friend for the cost of a box of cider!
He drilled through the central part, pinned it to the base, strengthening added by locking wire and 2 part aircraft adhesive - time will tell!
