Habitation door window

I have just removed our habitation door window as water in between the double glazed unit,( could have put a goldfish in it ) on removal I could clearly see seal was deteriorated and so carefully using a stanley knife I have split the two parts of perspex and cleaned up ready for re seal, My question is what is best to use for re sealing the two parts back together?

I would think a clear silicone would do itor a good strong clear waterproof adhesive

I would use an apoxy resin such as araldite...
