I'm a newbie
Hello all, l put an earlier post on about a superglue lock, after dismantling the lock it was an attempted break in,,, it looks like they've pushed a screwdriver into the lock,, it seems like l need a new barrel.. Is it possible to get one made to use the same key as this one opens my gas locker and garage?

Hiya we had exactly the same thing happen
we got a repcement cylinder with the same key from Germany
You need to know what sort of lock it is
A photo would help identify it

I got a matching cylinder for our Mo Ho
from a site I have sent you the link

But you do need to know the type of lock and the key number to see if they have cylinders with matching key code

In the meantime why not swap the faulty cylinder for, say, the one on the gas locker? If you are in the end unable to obtain the correct cylinder buy one that the key will at least fully enter then push the key in and file off any protruding tumblers. It will be considerably less secure but will lock and could be used for a less important door (again, for example, the gas locker door).

That's a brilliant idea, thanks

Changing a cylinder , when you buy the new one get a red key which is longer than the normal key and pulls the cylinder retaining clip in and the barrel pops out do the same to fit the new barrel
Thank you

Can you pm me the same details. Useful info as I have same door lock.
