Got ferry booked for end of August from Ancona to Greece. Our normal route to Ancona would be Belgium, Luxembourg (for diesel), Germany, Austria and then Italy. It is cheaper than going through Switzerland. Does anyone see any problems with this route in the current circumstances or is it just silly risking going to Greece anyway as circumstances can change overnight.

I done that trip nearly a month ago now. No problems.pleased to say Greece is a real gem for motorhoming, may be better this year as the visitor numbers are down, not sure as it’s a first for us.

We are booked on the ferry to Greece early September
would be interested to hear how your transit journey goes.

Thinking maybe to postpone, as it looks as if covid declaration/tests will be required at each border
would be great if you could let us all know how the journey goes.
Hope it all goes well for you
Enjoy, we love Greece.

Can you explain how it's cheaper going via Austria then Switzerland ?
